Am Preschool Program:
8:30-1:00
Afternoon Preschool program:
1:00-5:30
As we do not serve lunch parents are free to pick up their children at Noon instead of sending a lunch. The afternoon is also a preschool program. It is more mellow as some children are napping. Academics are still incorporated and teachers focus on kindergarten readiness. Feel free to enroll for the just the afternoon program if desired.
Our schedule follows certain guidelines, but is in no way regimented (snack and lunch are to be held when indicated).
Following is the general time line of our school day:
8:30 Morning arrival and greetings Free time
9:00 (cooking/preparing snack offered/small group activity
9:30 Large Group
10:00 Snack
10:30 SPARK activity offered
11:00 Outside/ Art project available
11:45 Morning goodbye for children not staying for lunch
12:00 Lunch from home and free time
1:00 Afternoon arrival and greetings
1:15 Story time for newcomers
Nap time begins for full day children and children needing a rest
1:45 Small group(cooking/preparing snack offered)
Free time
3:00 Snack
3:30 Large group
3:45 Outside/ Art project available
4:45 Afternoon goodbyes
Free play until pickup by 5:30
*Parents please feel free to drop in any time to visit your child at school. It is best to show up during free times or at the beginning of an activity, so that children are not distracted by a newcomer.
